Change video resolution
Downscale a video to 1080p, 720p or 480p to save space or meet an upload limit. The aspect ratio is preserved and videos are never upscaled.
Why can't I make my video larger?
Upscaling cannot add detail that was never recorded — it only makes files bigger. Presets therefore cap at the source resolution.
Which resolution should I choose?
720p is the sweet spot for sharing: it looks good on phones and cuts the file size roughly in half compared to 1080p. Use 480p for the smallest files.
